Local residents raise ‘bail’ for MDA (The Terrell Tribune)
The Muscular Dystrophy Association “arrested” law-abiding community and business leaders Nov. 12 to raise money for MDA’s programs and services. The jailbirds were escorted to a mock jail site at Carmona’s Tex-Mex & Cantina where they received a one-hour sentence to raise $1,600 “bail” for MDA by calling their family, friends, and business associates.
